The Wasserman Center for Career Development at NYU-Poly values the opportunity to collaborate and partner with faculty to support students in their professional and academic development. Together, we can ensure that students have the education and experience they need to achieve their goals after graduation. We look forward to working with you.
The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) provides guidance on best practices for faculty participation in the recruitment process. These guidelines address issues around candidate referrals and providing references. They are available on the NACE website or as a PDF document.
The Wasserman Center for Career Development at NYU-Poly can assist you in the process of identifying qualified students for your on-campus Federal Work Study, Non-Federal Work Study, or Graduate Student Employment and Training (GSET) positions. The NYU CareerNet job posting system is an excellent resource for advertising student jobs within your office/department. It is free and only open to the NYU/NYU-Poly community. To post a position, you must create a free employer account. Please note that NYU and NYU-Poly on-campus student employment is not integrated. At this time, main campus NYU students cannot work on NYU-Poly's campus and NYU-Poly students cannot work on NYU's main campus. Therefore, it is important that openings are accurately posted. You will want to select one of the three "NYU-Poly only" categories under "Position Type”.
