Living Trust

To include NYU-Poly as a beneficiary of your trust, please meet with your attorney to draft an amendment to your trust. If you have specific wishes for how the Institute uses your gift, please contact the Office of Development at (718) 260-3364 or plannedgiving@poly.edu to discuss your interest in supporting particular programs at Poly. The Office of Planned Giving can assist you when evaluating the ideal assets or structure for your gift. The legal name of the Institute for use in your trust agreement is Polytechnic Institute of New York University and NYU-Poly's tax ID number is 11-1630820.

I don't have a will or living trust

Supporting NYU-Poly through a will or trust costs nothing now, yet it may give you a great deal of satisfaction to know that your future gift will live on at NYU-Poly. The Office of Development can assist you when evaluating estate planning options and the ideal assets or structure for your gift. Please contact us for more information about supporting NYU-Poly. We encourage you to meet with an attorney and your financial advisors regarding any changes to your plans. The following language is recommended to include NYU-Poly in your estate:

“I hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, a non-profit corporation organized and operating under the law of the State of New York, currently located at 15 MetroTech Center,6th Floor, Brooklyn, New York  11201, the sum of $_____________.”  Additional wording can include:  “the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to be used for the general purposes of the Institute (or for a particular program of your choice).”
