PIAA committees work throughout the year to build support for important programs and initiatives that improve the NYU-Poly experience for both alumni and current students. All alumni members are encouraged to provide feedback and support for the ad-hoc committees. Please send an e-mail to alumni@poly.edu to get involved.
The Audit Committee functions as the body to prepare the annual PIAA budget for submission and approval by the International Board of Directors, to audit the accounts of the PIAA as required, and to make recommendation of investment strategies for the PIAA funds.

This committee is charged with interacting with alumni volunteers who are interested in participating in volunteer activities that give back to our community.

This committee is charged with working closely with Poly's Office of Development & Alumni Relations to support and enhance fundraising efforts for NYU-Poly, with a focus on unrestricted gifts from alumni to the Polytechnic Fund and Promise Scholarship Fund.

This standing committee of the PIAA oversees the nomination and election process for the PIAA. Members work collectively to nominate individuals as officers or directors in the PIAA and coordinate the presentation of the election slate in the spring issue of Cable magazine.

This committee, on an annual basis, selects undergraduate students to receive Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association scholarships. Funding for such scholarships is determined by the International Board of Directors.
