Alumni Events  

Throughout the year, educational, social and cultural events are presented on and off campus for alumni of Polytechnic Institute of NYU. These annual events include the Leadership Seminar series, the Alumni-Student Mixer, Leadership Breakfasts, the Annual Alumni Meeting and Dinner and various theater and opera evenings.


Alumni Back-to-School Day

All Polytechnic alumni are invited! This will be the reunion celebration for the classes of 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2004.

Join is for a day to hear from Polytechnic faculty members, meet students and administrators, tour the facilities, and taste the “Best of Brooklyn” at a festive celebration.

Dr. Charles Camarda ’74, NASA Astronaut and Distinguished Engineer in Residence will be the keynote speaker.

Check back to find out which faculty members will be speaking and for a detailed schedule of events.

The Annual Meeting of the Polytechnic University Alumni Association, Inc. will also take place at the conclusion of the day’s events.

2009 Golden Jubilee Society Luncheon and
Induction of the Class of 1959

All graduates from 1959 and earlier are invited to join us for the annual Golden Jubilee Society luncheon as we induct the class of 1959 into the Golden Jubilee Society.

This event will also serve as a reunion for the classes of 1944, 1949 and 1954 as they celebrate their 55th, 60th and 65th anniversaries.

DIRECTIONS TO LATOURETTE GOLF COURSE

From South NewJ ersey - Outerbridge Crossing

Outerbridge Crossing - stay left through toll booth to Richmond Parkway. Take Richmond Parkway to the last exit (Richmond Ave. North) Make right turn at first traffic light (Arthur Kill Road). Stayon Arthur Kill Road for approximately tw omiles and you will proceed up a steep winding hill. Make first right at the top for LaTourette Club House.

From Northern New Jersey - Goethals Bridge

Goethals Bridge - to Staten Island Expressway (278 East). Exit at Victory Blvd. and follow exit ramp to traffic light. Turn left and just past light bear right on to expressway service road. Don't get on expressway; stay on thes ervice road to first traffic light (Woolley Ave.). Maker ight turn and proceed five traffic lights to Richmond Hill Road. Turn left on to Richmond Hill Road. Golf course entrance is at the crest of the hill on left.

From Long Island / Brooklyn - Verrazano Bridge

Verrazano Bridge - to Staten Island (278 West). Exit at Bradley Avenue and stay on service road for two traffic lights. Make left turn on to Woolley Avenue and proceed six traffic lights to Richmond Hill Road. Make left turn on to Richmond Hill Road. The golf course entrance is at the crest of the hill on the left.
