* Matching Gifts

Many employers have Matching Gift programs whereby they will match (1:1, 2:1, 3:1) gifts made by their current and in some instances retired employees to institutions of higher learning. You can check with your Human Resources department to see if your employer participates and to obtain the necessary forms.

Matching Gifts are a way to have your initial gift enhanced by your employer with the credit going to you. And depending on your initial gift, matching gifts can put you in a different donor category. For example a gift of $50 matched 1:1 brings you from the Donor category to the Century Club.
