Growing up in Brooklyn, Saad Naeem (senior) always heard of NYU-Poly and its renowned reputation in the world of technology and engineering. So, when he decided he wanted to major in Civil Engineering, he knew his hometown University would be the ideal place to pursue his dream of becoming a Senior VP at a construction management firm.
Saad enjoys the Civil Engineering program, which he says has helped him “build character and strong leadership qualities.” The program has also helped him meet his close-knit group of friends, many of whom have the same class schedule. In addition to attending classes and hanging out with his friends, Saad’s day is filled with campus activities. He is the president of the Programming Board, and he is also involved with the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
In his free time, Saad likes to take the subway into Manhattan and go to comedy clubs, try different restaurants, catch a movie or visit a museum.
