Meet Cindy Ramjeawan (junior), an Integrated Digital Media major at NYU-Poly. Cindy strives to get everything she can out of her NYU-Poly education, especially because she’s in a city that is so media driven. She takes both undergraduate and graduate level courses, in addition to having work-study responsibilities and an internship at NBC.
Cindy’s day starts with a few classes in the morning, followed by three hours of work-study in admissions. “In the afternoon, I go to my graduate Design and Development class, which has really accelerated my learning and will help me in my career,” says Cindy.
As a media major, there’s no better place to be than New York City.
After class, she hops on the subway into Manhattan for her internship at NBC. “As a media major, there’s no better place to be than New York City. I’m surrounded by today’s top companies, and I’m making so many professional connections.” When she gets back to campus, there’s always time to meet up with friends before she heads back to her dorm to finish some homework and relax before bed.
