In order to get a better feel for life at NYU-Poly, we strongly encourage you to visit the campus! The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is open from Monday to Friday, as well as certain Saturdays, for tours, information sessions and/or admission interviews. Academic Credentials

As an applicant to NYU-Poly we strongly suggest that you have the following:

• SAT I or ACT scores (required)
• 4 years of lab-based science
• 4 years of mathematics (algebra through pre-calculus)

Application Deadlines

Early Decision and Dean’s Application Deadlines – UPDATE
Due to the widespread damage in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic U.S. as a result of Hurricane Sandy, we have extended the Early Decision and Dean’s Application Deadlines as follows:

Early Decision Deadline – Extended to Monday, November 19th, 2012

Applications to NYU-Poly are strongly encourage you to meet one of our priority deadlines in order to receive consideration for maximum scholarship as well as residence hall opportunities.

Early Decision

NYU-Poly offers an Early Decision application option for freshman applicants who are certain that NYU-Poly is their first-choice school. Students applying as Early Decision candidates will receive their admissions decision by mid-December.
 
NYU-Poly’s Early Decision program is in fact a binding agreement. If an applicant is offered admission and provided with a financial aid package that enables a student to enroll, the student must withdraw any applications previously submitted to other institutions and accept NYU-Poly’s admissions offer.
 
NYU-Poly’s commitment to Early Decision applicants is to provide an “early” decision. Students applying under the Early Decision program will not be deferred to the “regular” pool, but rather have a definitive answer regarding their candidacy.
