Polytechnic Institute of NYU has outstanding resources to aid you in your
study and research. Drawing upon a history of scientific innovation,
the NYU-Poly campus is continually setting the pace for scientific,
technological and industrial achievement. Most recently, a $100-million
upgrade to the MetroTech campus is reflected in a newly constructed
academic building, a modern residence hall, a new athletic facility,
new labs, and a state-of-the-art computing infrastructure.
Wireless networking is available on campus, allowing students
to connect to the University network and the Internet from virtually
anywhere. New computer labs feature high-end workstations for research,
3D modeling and dynamic simulation.
The Bern Dibner Library of Science and Technology offers you
an education without limits. It has more than 190,000 titles; 200,000
volumes; numerous serials; online databases; CD-ROM learning tools; and
multimedia resources. The library is also a member of the Online
Computer Library Center, which maintains an international database with
over 4,000 participating libraries.
"Centers of excellence" provide the latest tools and
technologies for research and study in various fields, including
telecommunications, supercomputing, wireless, polymers, construction
management, imaging, biocatalysis and others.
