Transportation Planning and Engineering
Polytechnic's MS Programs in Transportation Engineering emphasize professional practice at an advanced level, while providing the potential PhD student with advanced theoretical material sufficient to prepare him/her for independent research. Polytechnic has been the home of one of the strongest transportation groups in the nation since the late 1960s. The faculty includes a strong core of researchers and educators that have played leadership roles in such broad areas as transportation systems, highway capacity and level of service analysis, and transportation policy.
