Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluated the essays that are submitted.
Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.
You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.
Since 1998 the program has awarded 448 scholarships worth over $900,000, to students pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management and Diesel Technology. The Alliance/Merck Ciencia (Science) Hispanic Scholars Program is a partnership to improve Hispanic student access to higher education and degrees in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). The American Chemical Society sponsors scholarship programs for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, and students seeking a two-year degree in chemical technology. ASCO Numatics,is proud to offer our 2012 college engineering scholarship program aimed at rewarding exceptional undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a career in manufacturing and processing engineering.
ASCO Numatics will award two, $5,000 scholarships to U.S. engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines. Additionally, ASCO Numatics will make $1,000 grants to the engineering departments of the colleges in which the winners are enrolled. The ASPIRE award from the National Science Foundation will prepare its recipients with strong technical training and a security mindset that looks beyond just technology while approaching problems. As part of the Federal Scholarship for Service (SFS) program, it will nurture leadership, community service, and good citizenship in its scholars, producing a cadre of Scholarship for Service graduates ready for some of the most crucial challenges of our time.
The scholarship supports two- to three years of stipends, tuition and allowance for students in the general area of information assurance and cybersecurity. The Scholarships cover expenses normally incurred by full-time students in the institution, including tuition and education related fees (does not include items such as meal plans, housing, or parking). The AGC Education and Research Foundation (AGCERF) is happy to invest in the future of the construction industry by awarding scholarships to deserving students in construction management and engineering programs across the country. The Educational Partnership Program (EPP)/Undergraduate Scholarship Program (USP) provides selected undergraduate applicants with a scholarship award (up to a maximum of $8,000) for two academic years of full-time study and two 10-week, full-time internships ($650/week) during the summer at a NOAA facility. The internship begins the last week of May each year, and provides student scholars with “hands-on” research training involving in NOAA-related science, research, technology, and policy activities. The NSF Federal Cyber Service Scholarship for Service (SFS) grant provides financial aid to students wishing to pursue advanced studies in the field of information assurance and security. The scholarship will cover full tuition and any other academic fees. In addition, it will also provide a stipend of $8,000 an academic year to undergraduates and $12,000 for graduates. During his thirty years of service to the construction industry of New York State, Paul Richards, former Managing Director of the General Building Contractors of NYS (formally the NYS Building Division of the AGC NYS), earned the respect of all with whom he worked by his dedication to the AGC ideals of Skill, Integrity and Responsibility. In memory and appreciation for Paul's excellent service and leadership and for his strong commitment to education, the Paul B. Richards Memorial Scholarship was endowed in 1987 by the Membership of the GBC. Each year, $2000 scholarships in Paul's name are presented to deserving young men and women pursuing undergraduate degrees in construction-related fields who show a real interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry. The Ronald Reagan College Leaders Scholarship Program seeks to recognize outstanding young people who are promoting American values on college campuses. Winners will receive the scholarship for their junior year and may apply for renewal before their senior year. Applicants:

The Sallie Mae Fund sponsors several scholarship programs and supports hundreds of college scholarships. All of our programs are based on financial need, as The Fund seeks to bridge the dollar gap when no one else can. With an estimated $3 billion in private scholarships awarded nationally each year, The Fund aims to send the message that money is available to those who make the effort to apply. Since 2001, The Sallie Mae Fund has awarded more than $15.5 million in scholarships to more than 6,350 students.

The purpose of the Women’s Forum Education Award is to encourage mature women to realize their own potential and to contribute significantly to their communities. Awards of 10,000 dollars will be given to women over 35 who, after interrupting their education, are now pursuing their first undergraduate college degrees. They must be residents of New York City, attend colleges in New York City.
