NYU-Poly’s 1-2-1 Joint Degree Exchange Program is a new initiative in global education that provides incredible opportunities for academic and cultural exchange. When NYU-Poly developed the 1-2-1 program, it had the challenges of a global economy in mind. Now, more than ever before, students benefit from a diversity of learning opportunities that prepare them to take on a wide variety of complex assignments with businesses, schools, and governments all over the world. The 1-2-1 program addresses this need by providing you with two incredible schools that will, at program’s end, offer you two bachelor of science degrees.

How it Works

In the 1-2-1 program, you will complete one year of study at your home university, before moving to NYU-Poly for your second and third years. Then, you will return to your home university to complete the final year of your bachelor degree. The 1-2-1 program is tailored to meet each individual student’s needs and ensure that you will complete your studies according to a traditional undergraduate timeline. Because most Bachelor of Science degrees require a minimum of 128 credits, students are required to complete at least 64 credits during their two years of study at NYU-Poly. 1-2-1 courses are carefully selected in consultation with NYU-Poly and home university faculty in order to make certain your requirements are met at both institutions. You will also receive a list of courses that you are expected to take, prior to arriving at NYU-Poly.
