Rohan Douglas, BSc

Professor Rohan Douglas is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management in the Financial Engineering Program at Polytechnic Institute of NYU. He has over twenty years experience in the global financial industry. He is founder and CEO of Quantifi LLC ( www.quantifisolutions.com), a financial software company that provides state-of-the-art models, pricing tools, and risk analysis for the world's credit markets. Prior to founding Quantifi, he was Director of Global Credit Derivatives Research at Salomon Smith Barney. During his ten years at Salomon, he also worked in Interest Rate Derivatives, Emerging Markets and Global Fixed Income and also was responsible for post-graduate recruiting for Fixed Income Research in New York. Prior to joining Salomon, Professor Douglas was a founding principal in the financial software firm Giltnet, a spin-off of the Australian primary bond market dealer Australian Gilt Securities. During his seven years at Giltnet, he developed portfolio analytic systems for the Australian, US, UK, and Japanese bond and derivative markets.

He received his BSc degree with honors from Sydney University in Australia and has attended the Securities Institute of Australia, the Wharton School of Management in Managing Technology and Innovation and New York University’s Stern School of Business.
