Ingrid Marshall, CPA is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management in the Financial Engineering Program at Polytechnic Institute of NYU. She is also a partner in Marshall & Marshall, CPAs, a public accounting firm specializing in corporate accounting. Currently, Professor Marshall is also in charge of Management Information Systems at Calidad Auto Tech, Inc, a national wholesale distributor of auto system cleaners.

Previously, she was an accountant with Martin Rosen & Company. Prior to that Professor Marshall was a manager in the Government Securities Division of Prudential Securities. She joined Prudential Securities in 1983, when it was known as Bache, Halsey, Stuart, Shields. She supervised a staff responsible for reconciling all of the firm’s positions in government securities, reporting to the accounting department, and interfacing with the information technology division for purposes of systems development and integration for government securities transactions.

As a consultant, Professor Marshall has also taught accounting to the staff of the Union Bank of Switzerland, with a focus on preparing employees for the CFA examination. She serves as the treasurer for the annual CIFE conferences (Computational Intelligence for Financial Engineering), which are jointly sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the International Association of Financial Engineers (IAFE), and is a member of the Board of Directors of Playgroups, Inc, a non-profit corporation. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1983 and an MBA in Public Accounting at St. John’s University in 1988. In 1987, she was elected a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor society for business.
