Professor Ducarmel Dorceus is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management in the Financial Engineering Program at Polytechnic Institute of NYU. He is also a financial consultant with Oppenheimer Capital in the fund investments group. His responsibilities include daily reconciliation of fund investments, monitoring valuations, compliance with internal and SEC regulations, cash management, and business process management. Professor Dorceus has day-to-day exposure to and involvement with accounting issues in the domestic and overseas equity, fixed income, foreign exchange and derivatives markets.

Professor Dorceus has also been a financial consultant for TIAA-CREF and Empire Insurance.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and Accounting at New York University in 1991 and an MA in Multinational Business Management also from NYU in 1995. Professor Dorceus is a member of the American Management Association, the National Association of Business Education, and the American Society for Training and Development.
