As part of NYU-Poly's Smart Classroom Project, technologies to facilitate teaching and learning have been installed in twenty-one NYU-Poly classrooms since July 2009 in Rogers Hall (RH) and Jacobs Academic Building (JAB).
The goal of the Smart Classroom Project is to enhance classrooms at NYU-Poly with new technologies to support educational initiatives. The upgraded classrooms enable teaching with technology and greater interactivity in the classroom. This project has been made possible by a Title III grant awarded to the Institute by the U.S. Department of Education.
