Application Process

Students are required to complete an NYU-Poly application and, depending on the program, an application from the host academic university or program. Applications are available in the Office of International Students and Scholars.

Applications must be accompanied by the following documents:

• Personal statement explaining why he or she is interested in study abroad, and how it will benefit his or her overall educational goals
• Resume
• Letter of recommendation from a professor or academic advisor
• Approval from the head of the applicant’s major department
• Official academic transcript

All documents must be submitted to the Office of International Students and Scholars. Upon review by the Office of International Students and Scholars, qualified applications will be forwarded to the host university for final review.
