In today’s competitive economic climate, it’s essential that U.S. manufacturers improve productivity and profitability to stay relevant in the global marketplace. To address such issues, we need engineers to analyze the production process of our factories through a scientific lens.
The Certificate program in Manufacturing Engineering and Production Science trains you to do just that.
Along with a look at modern methods of manufacturing, such as Total Quality Control, our curriculum explores modeling and simulation techniques meant to streamline performance and planning. Equipped with this knowledge, you’ll prove a tremendous asset to any manufacturing firm.
We’ve geared the certificate towards professionals with work experience, but we also leave the door open to further studies in the future: certificate course credits can usually count toward a related master’s degree at NYU-Poly.
You must hold a bachelor’s degree and have relevant work experience to be considered for the program.
