Mathematics

NYU-Poly’s Department of Mathematics maintains a high level of excellence in both research and teaching.

Our research is focused on the fields of applied supercomputing, convex geometric analysis, applications of partial differential equations to mathematical physics, and differential topology. The ongoing research our faculty produces is funded by the National Science Foundation and appears in top ranked academic journals.
