Where MS 2163 was primarily a historical orientation to media communications, this course is its complement: a critical orientation. Drawing on their evolving research, discursive and creative skills, students in DM 2163 are expected to consider contemporary media-communications practices as integral parts of an ongoing global cultural process, with all of the potential that implies.
Prerequisites: MS 2163W. Co-requisites: None. Notes: Satisfies a HuSS elective.
