Description:
This composition-studio course aims to have each student generate music using algorithmic procedures. The studio will explore algorithmic thinking in music, dating fromthe distant past to the present, in pre-compositional and performance situations. Participants listen to a broad repertoire and learn to use a wide variety of algorithmic techniques.
