How do I choose my classes?

Your first semester courses will be chosen for you based on your major and Math and English diagnostic exam results. As of your second semester, however, you will be expected to create your own schedule and to register for your courses yourself using the on-line registration process.

Advanced Placement (AP) and College Now allow students to receive college credits. For the most current and up-to-date listing of how these various credits transfer to the university, please visit the Office of Admissions website.

How many courses should I take my first semester?

Four academic courses (a total of approximately 16 credits) are recommended per semester. You must register for at least 12 credits to be considered a full-time undergraduate student. Some students may take more or fewer credits depending on their admissions status, and whether they have other time commitments including jobs, family, and/or commuting.

How do I get an e-mail address?

You will be given a university email address once you are registered for your first semester courses.

Advanced Placement credit: For AP, only scores of 3, 4 or 5 are considered for credit. See the Admissions webpage for specific AP information.
