Ways to Give

There are a variety of ways to make your gift to NYU-Poly. You can send a check, use your credit card on our secure giving website or transfer assets such as stocks, bonds and property.

Additionally, you can make a contribution to NYU-Poly by making a planned gift through bequests, annuities and trusts.

NYU-Poly is a not-for-profit organization and gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Give Online

To make a gift online, please visit our secure online donation page. There, you will be able to search funds, allowing you to designate your gift to the area and/or department desired.

Through the Mail

To make or pledge a gift through the mail, please complete our giving form and mail it, along with your check or credit card information, to:

Over the Phone

To make your gift over the phone, please contact the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at (718) 260-3885.

To process your gift, we require the following information:

• Name
• Address
• Home phone number
• E-mail
• Amount of Gift/Pledge
• Where you would like to direct your gift
• Credit card information (this encompasses type of card, card number, expiration date and the name on the card)

Via Fax

To make or pledge a gift via fax, please complete our giving form and fax it to (718) 260-3449. Please make sure to include “ATTN: Assistant Director of Annual Giving” on your completed form.

Transfer of Securities

To make a gift of stock, please follow the instructions below.

Direct Stock Transfers

To send stock directly to NYU-Poly’s account at JP Morgan Clearing Corp., please use the below account and contact information. Once the order for the transfer has gone through, an agent at JP Morgan Clearing Corp. will be contacted to confirm the transfer was received.

Please note that for all stock gifts, NYU-Poly needs a letter from either you, the donor or a broker stating the purpose of the gift and a receipt once the sale of the stock is completed. These items, which are required by the IRS, are to be directed to Eleanor Fallon, Director of Donor Relations at (718) 260-4108 or efallon@poly.edu.

In-kind Gifts

We welcome in-kind gifts to the Institute. Examples of in-kind gifts include physical assets, such as collections, equipment, books, works of art, software and other personal or corporate property given to the Institute for its use or for liquidation.

Matching Gift Programs

Many employers have Matching Gift programs whereby they will match (often times 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1) gifts made by their current and, in some instances, retired employees to institutions of higher education. To find out if your company will match your gift, ask your Human Resources department and obtain the necessary forms.

Matching Gifts are an excellent way to enhance your initial gift. These gifts are credited to you and, depending on your initial gift, your full contribution may qualify you to be recognized in one of our giving societies.
