Polytechnic Institute of New York University (formerly Polytechnic University), an affiliate of New York University, is New York City’s most comprehensive school of engineering, technology, applied sciences, and research. We are rooted in our 150-plus-year tradition of innovation, invention, and entrepreneurship.
Founded in 1854, we are one of the nation’s oldest private engineering schools. In addition to our main campus at MetroTech Center in downtown Brooklyn, we offer programs at sites throughout the region and around the globe. We have centers in Long Island, Manhattan and Westchester County; globally, we offer programs in Israel, China, and will be an integral part of New York University's campus in Abu Dhabi opening in autumn 2010.
