Tuition, Fees and Room and Board

Students are charged full-time tuition, fees, room and board, medical and liability insurance and other fees consistent with those charged to all full-time students at Polytechnic. For current charges click here.

Students are eligible for scholarships and other financial aid awards based on need and merit. Examples of academic criteria used in scholarship decisions include

• Student’s academic record from his/her secondary school and from the first year of study at his/her home university.
• Demonstration of English language skill and proficiency- such as demonstrated on the TOEFL or ILET.
• Results of the Polytechnic English Reading and Writing placement test and the Polytechnic Mathematics diagnostic test. These tests are administered to students during their first year of study at the home university.
• Student’s score on the university entrance examination required by the home university.
• Recommendation of the Office of International Education of the home university.

Student Visas

Appropriate United States visas e.g. J-1 or F-1 are required of all students participating in the program. Polytechnic will assist the participating student’s visa application process and will work with the appropriate U.S. Consulate General Office and the U.S. State Department to assist in expediting the visa process.

Application Process

Interested students at participating universities are encouraged to file a transfer application as early as possible. The official deadline for the fall semester is December 15 th of the previous year, though applications will continue to receive consideration if space is available. The application can be filed on-line. The application fee is automatically waived. Once the application is received, potential students will be contacted by the Admissions Office for further information.
